General Terms and Conditions for Use of the Service
Brevon.se / ABC Digital AB, company registration number 559220-2112, referred to in these terms as ABC Digital AB, provides a service through which private individuals, associations and companies can order postal services and have letters delivered to a chosen person in a prison, jail, remand facility or other place of detention.
The following terms and conditions govern the use of the services provided through the website www.brevon.se
, customer service, email or SMS. By using ABC Digital AB’s services, you accept these terms and conditions.
Ordering Products and Services
To order products and services through ABC Digital AB, you must ensure that the information you provide is correct. When you order products and services through Brevon.se, we receive the contact details of the person in custody in order to deliver the product or service on your behalf for postal handling and delivery.
Brevon Does Not Store the Information
Once ABC Digital AB has performed the service and handed over the mail for postal delivery, the information is no longer stored.
No other party, private individual, authority or similar entity is given access to ABC Digital AB’s letters, for privacy and security reasons.
As standard, ABC Digital AB only collects the name of the person in custody and the address of the prison, jail or facility where the person is located, in order to deliver the mail. The information is then deleted for privacy and security reasons.
The content of the letter written by the customer is never read by ABC Digital AB. ABC Digital AB also does not store the content of the letter, for privacy and security reasons.
If You Wish to Cancel Your Purchase
The right of withdrawal applies for 14 days from the date on which you received the product or service.
The right of withdrawal does not apply to all types of purchases. For example, it does not apply when purchasing a custom-made product. You can read more about the exceptions in the Swedish Distance and Off-Premises Contracts Act, Chapter 2, Sections 1 and 11.
Please note that the right of withdrawal does not apply to letters that have been written by you and then sent onward for postal handling. This is considered a custom-made product, specially tailored for you or clearly personalised according to your wishes.
Purpose of the Processing
The information is collected only for administration and communication with the person in custody. All information collected is necessary in order to deliver the products and services provided through Brevon.se.
Sharing of Information
Your information is treated confidentially.
Copyright
All material on the website, including text, images and website design, may not be copied or used without permission.
Some information on the website concerns the privacy of persons deprived of liberty and may not be used without permission.
All rights to databases, trademarks, intellectual property rights and other copyrights related to our service, as well as content made available to you through the website, remain our property.
Our Liability
We accept no liability for any losses, damages or costs that you may incur or suffer as a result of incorrect delivery.
ABC Digital AB cannot be held liable if the postal service or an institution, such as a jail, remand facility or prison in Sweden, loses the letter or if delays occur.
Under no circumstances do we accept liability for any consequential damages, unforeseen damages or special damages, or for any loss of product, service, profit, interruption, loss of business information or data, or any other loss arising after use of the services.
Changes to the Terms
We reserve the right to amend these Terms of Use at any time. Your continued use of our service after such changes constitutes your acceptance of the amended terms.
Translation Notice
These terms and conditions have been translated from Swedish into English. In the event of any discrepancy, ambiguity or conflict between the Swedish version and the English translation, the Swedish version shall prevail.
